Registration
After tryouts, the team will need to select a manager and treasurer. These parent volunteers will have some defined responsibilities.
After tryout timeframes are in red.
- Have a parent meeting and elect or appoint a manager (week 1)
- Have a parent meeting and elect or appoint a treasurer (week 1)
- If team is U12+ choose a team name. You may pick from a pre-approved list, or choose a name and submit for board approval TNFC List of Pre-approved Team Names
- Contact DOC and Registrar with all contact information (week 2)
- Team Information form
- Fill out annual coach registration (week 1)
- Fill out annual background check Included in Coach Registration(week 1)
- Fill out annual Managers registration (week 1)
Manager & Treasurer Role
- Fill out club background check form and turn in (week 1)
- Collect coach registration form (TN State) and turn in to Registrar (week 1)
- If coach has not filled out team information form, fill out and turn in to Registrar registrar@tnfc.org
- Print and distribute all club paperwork
- Collect copy of birth certificate for all players
- Collect all club forms and registration fees (amounts to be communicated)

- Turn in paperwork and registration fees by deadline
- All teams between July 1st and July 15th
- U15+ Girls between October 1st and October 15th
- Meet with coach immediately to determine tournament schedule (week 2)
- Meet with treasurer to develop budget & communicate to parents (week 2)
- Collect TNFC Team Camp fees (amount TBD) and turn in at Team Camp

- Take player pictures (headshots) to create player cards
- Create player cards with pictures and player signatures (TN State cards require player signatures), and laminate them
- Create a team binder to organize all medical releases, permission to roster forms, player cards, and rosters (you need this at every game)
- Communicate with other area managers in your age group to set up friendly matches (with coach input)
- If your coach has more than one team, work with coach’s other manager to make sure to avoid conflicts
- Most age groups have a meeting to schedule games for each season. This is facilitated by club managers. (see Friendly Games)
