Guest Players

Guest players from other teams and/or clubs may be used at particular events. 

If a TNFC player plays with your team at a tournament or friendly game, only the guest player’s coach and the team using the guest player need to be notified and give permission.  If the player will play in a tournament, you can either have them temporarily reassigned to your TN State Roster (Contact TNFC registrar) or use guest player documentation (TN State Guest Player Documents).  If you use US Club Soccer rosters and player cards, you only need to transfer that player to your roster for the event and obtain their existing player card.

If you would like to use a player from another club, you MUST get the TNFC team coach AND TNFC Director of Coaching’s authorization BEFORE the invitation is extended to the player.  The coach and/or TNFC DOC will email the guest player coach and/or DOC to gain permission.  Please familiarize yourself with TN State Soccer Policy 26 as it relates to recruiting.  If permission is given, it is the manager’s job to make sure all relevant guest paperwork is filled out, medical release and player card are attained, and a uniform is obtained for the player at the event.
