3 Teams Sweep at May Madness Tournament

Go undefeated over three days

TNFC 01 Boys swept the Champions places in all three U11 Boys brackets of the TNFC May Madness tournament in Franklin this past weekend, May 4-6.  The boys were undefeated, going 11-0-1 against teams from Tennessee and Alabama. Click here for tournament results.

Coach Eric Achieves USSF B License

Congratulations to Coach Eric for achieving his USSF National B License!  The B course is extremely rigorous, and succeeding in getting certified is very difficult -- only a few coaches at our club (and the potential merged club) have their B or A license.  Not only did he have the pressure of being tested on coaching other coursemates with professional playing and high-level coaching experience, he did it on one leg!  I know that Eric learned a great deal about coaching at the course, to add to his playing experience and time coaching at TNFC and before.

Two Teams, Two Champions: TNFC 01 Boys at Murfreesboro Tournament

01 Boys Win Both Divisions, Go Undefeated at Bash in the Boro

TNFC 01 Boys swept both of their divisions in the Murfreesboro Bash in the Boro tournament in Murfreesboro, TN.  The boys representing the  Black team won the U11 Boys Silver division by going 2-0-1 and beating Harpeth FC in the finals.  The Grey team played up in the U12 Silver division, shutting out both teams on Saturday and beating Brentwood Elite in the semifinals and Murfreesboro Premier in the finals.
